<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor in which strength of an internal thread part provided in the housing of the compressor is increased, while avoiding causing enlargement of the compressor body. <P>SOLUTION: In the compressor, a cylinder 11, a front housing 12, a rear housing 13, and a valve plate 23 are commonly clamped by a bolt 37. The internal thread part 35 made of iron is jointly fixed on the peripheral wall 133 of the rear housing 13. The rear housing 13 as a partial housing is cast with the internal thread part 35 inserted. The internal thread part 35 is inserted in the rear housing 13 in the casting.
