<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a black coloring material for a black matrix, from which the black matrix having excellent surface smoothness, an excellent light shielding property and high optical density can be obtained, to provide a black coloring material-containing black composition for the black matrix, to provide another black composition for the black matrix, which is obtained from the black coloring material-containing black composition and to which photosensitivity is imparted and to provide a coating film forming material-containing color filter obtained from the black coloring material-containing black composition for the black matrix or the photosensitive black composition for the black matrix. <P>SOLUTION: This black coloring material for the black matrix consists of black composite granular powder obtained by coating at least a part of the surface of a carbon black particle with a surface finishing agent and making a pigment derivative and/or an organic pigment exist on the surface of the surface finishing agent-coated carbon black particle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
