<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tongue cleaning chip and a tongue cleaning apparatus with which a tongue surface is not sucked at the time of cleaning the tongue surface. <P>SOLUTION: On the distal end part of a suction pipe 7 having a connection part 9 freely connectable to a suction side hose 5 on a proximal end part side, a projection part 13 for raking the surface of the tongue is provided projectingly in a direction crossing the longitudinal direction of the suction pipe 7. A suction port 15 is provided near the base part of the projection part 13, the suction port 15 is provided more on the proximal end part side than the projection part 13, and a suction hole 17 is provided on the distal end side of the suction pipe 7.
