<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil-based ink composition for writing utensil having excellent wettability of the ink to a non-penetrating face such as glass, plastics and metal, fixability of the written mark and dryability of the ink and forming a good written mark and provide a writing utensil such as ball-point pen containing the ink composition. <P>SOLUTION: The oil-based ink composition for writing utensil contains a coloring agent, an organic solvent and a polyglycerol-modified silicone as essential components. The amount of the polyglycerol-modified silicone is 0.1-10 wt.% based on the total amount of the ink composition. The invention further provides a writing utensil such as ball-point pen containing the oil-based ink composition. The oil-based ink composition for writing utensil incorporated with a shear viscosity depressant is directly held in a pipe-formed ink holding tube and a back-flow prevention device is placed at the rear end of the tube to obtain a ball-point pen having a simple structure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
