<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key cylinder mounting structure for a plurality of automobile parts without lowering the rigidity of any parts as a result of forming an extra opening thereby when installing the key cylinder in such a manner that the key cylinder is set astride the automobile components making the mounting work much easier. <P>SOLUTION: A key cylinder 21 is fixed to an inner panel 3 of a rear door 1 of the automobile; and a ring-shaped cover 23 having an insertion hole 23a of the key cylinder 21 is installed to an opening 25 formed to the outer panel 5 in a loose fit state without falling from the opening 25 but in a movable manner in a radial direction of the opening 25.
