MAGNETIC HEAD AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure reliability of adhesion of a protective film of a main magnetic pole having a desirable reverse trapezoid in order to maintain recording magnetic field in a magnetic head of a vertical magnetic recording system. SOLUTION: When forming the protective film which protects the main magnetic pole, the film is deposited by a sputtering system with a bias or by a carousel type sputtering system or a chemical vapor deposition (CVD) method.
