PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens interchanging digital camera system for obtaining an image which doesn't degrade optical aberrations such as curvature of field between independent camera bodies on which imaging devices having different pixel pitches are mounted. SOLUTION: The digital camera system comprises digital cameras 1 and 2 each of which comprises a plurality of interchangeable lens barrels 12 having the same specification and a camera body 11A or 11B allowing the interchangeable lens barrels 12 to be attached thereto. The camera body 11A incorporates an imaging device 5A having a standard pixel pitch and a first optical element including an optical LPF (low pass filter) 8A. The camera body 11B incorporates an imaging device 5B having a pixel pitch different from the standard pixel pitch and a second optical element including a second optical LPF 8B.
