<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine tool wherein wiring to an attachment and supply of cooling liquid, hydraulic fluid, cutting fluid, and the like can be carried out by simple construction. <P>SOLUTION: A rotary indexing shaft 2 is formed in cylindrical shape, and a motor 14 for driving a main spindle is built in the attachment 3 attached to the rotary indexing shaft 2. Relay connectors 8a to 8c and 15a to 15c are provided in the area of contact with the attachment 3 in the rotary indexing shaft 2. A pipe 5 for fluid and wires 6 and 7 to be connected to the attachment 3 are inserted into the internal hollow portion 2a in the rotary indexing shaft 2 from above, and are connected to the attachment through the relay connectors. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
