PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speech synthesizer which is more user-friendly than conventional technology. SOLUTION: The speech synthesizer 100, which synthesizes a speech based upon speech parameters specifying an output speech and outputs the speech, includes a storage section 106 which stores a control data correspondence table showing correspondence relation between control data changing predetermined speech parameter and corresponding data made to correspond to the control data, a data analysis section 103 which receives input of specification information specifying corresponding data from outside and specifies corresponding data, based upon the specification information, a speech parameter control section 104 which changes the speech parameters based upon control data made to correspond to the specified corresponding data, and a speech synthesis section 108 which synthesizes a speech based upon the changed speech parameters and outputs it.
