WOUND-ROTOR INDUCTION MOTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wound-rotor induction motor so constructed that a partition plate can be installed without dividing its housing. SOLUTION: The wound-rotor induction motor has slip rings 10 connected to rotor winding 3A in its housing 1 and the partition plate 20 between the body of a rotor 3 and the slip rings 10. Either end bracket 4 is provided with stud bolts 30 substantially in parallel with a rotating shaft 6 so that the partition plate 20 is supported by these stud bolts 30.
