PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk insertion regulation unit provided with a single CD insertion preventing function and a centering function that is configured compact so as to be incorporated without increasing the size of a casing. SOLUTION: A pair of slide bodies is interlockingly coupled to each other via a rack/pinion mechanism so as to be freely connectable/disconnectable and movable along a disk insertion slot, a pair of guide members is fixed to a pair of the slide bodies respectively such that the closest positions of the slide bodies are smaller than the diameter of a small-sized disk, each of a pair of the guide members is provided with a lock member energized toward a turning neutral position freely turnably at all times, a pair of stopper projections is fixed to a part integrated with the casing so as to be engaged with a pair of the lock members at the turning neutral positions at the closest positions, the lock members cannot be turned up to a position at which the small-sized disk is disengaged with the projections even when the small-sized disk is inserted and the lock members can be turned at the position at which the engagement with the stopper projections is released when a large-sized disk is inserted.
