PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer tape type correction implement equipped with a simple and easy retractable head. SOLUTION: The correction implement has freely detachable and attachable body covers 1, 2 with a tape unit 101 placed inside. The tape unit 101 is composed of a holder 102, a tape feeding reel 13, a tape take-up reel 11, a head 8 and a spring 10. Both reels 13, 11 synchronize and revolve in the same direction. The rear body cover 2 has a single-direction-movement knocking mechanism. The single-direction-movement knocking mechanism is composed of a push-type manual operation button 3, a tube-shaped fixed part 4 attached to the rear body cover 2, a tube-shaped back part 5, freely slidable but non-rotating and fitted into the fixed part 4 and a front part 6, freely slidable and rotating and fitted into the back part 5. The guide action of a cam closely fitted with each part 4, 5, and 6 facilitates the easy rising and setting of the head 8 by merely pushing the manual operation button 3. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
