PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen printing method, in which snapping-off properties can be improved without enlarging the clearance between a screen carrier and a matter to be printed and printing accuracy can be further improved. SOLUTION: In a method, in which a printing paste 32 is applied through a screen fabric 17 to the matter 23 to be printed by pressing the screen fabric 17 against the matter 23 to be printed by laterally moving a squeegee 29 under the condition that the screen carrier 11 with the screen fabric 17 inside a screen frame 16 is arranged on the upper side of the matter 23 to be printed with an interval, the screen frame 16 of the screen carrier 11 is arranged to give a tilt to the matter 23 to be printed so as to bring the printing finishing side of the squeegee 29 in the laterally moving direction more lower than its printing starting side so as to separate the screen carrier 11 from the matter 23 to be printed under the state that the screen frame 16 is kept its tilt in interlocking with the motion of the squeegee 29.
