PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic medical capsule instrument which is excellent in swallowability and is stably held in a balloon expanded state and consequently enables ultrasonic diagnosing to be excellently performed. SOLUTION: The end part opening 6a of a balloon 6 and the distal end part of a fluid pipe 7 are fixed to a valve body 13 constituting a check valve 9. The check valve 9 is mainly constituted of a valve member 15, a coil spring 16 and a pedestal 17. The valve body 13 is provided with a medium supply/discharge hole 13a and a valve abutting slope part 13b. The valve member 15 is freely slidably disposed on the inner peripheral surface of the valve body 13, the valve member 15 is provided with an inclined surface part 15a abutted on the valve abutting slope part 13b and a groove 15b in a peripheral direction in a side peripheral surface longitudinal direction. On the pedestal internal space bottom surface 17a of the pedestal 17, a plurality of through-holes 17b are provided. The valve member 15 arranged inside the valve body 13 brings the medium supply/discharge hole 13a into a closed state in an initial state by the movement of the end face of one end part of the valve member 15 to a position indicated by a double dotted chain line in the figure due to the energizing force of the coil spring 16.
