The slotted wall has a thermal insulation which is a part of precast concrete parts or part of prefabricated finished part (26) made of reinforcing cage and thermal insulation. The slotted wall encloses the fluid containing area and is of the shape of polygon and is self supported. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) Precast concrete part; (B) Reinforcing cage; (C) Thermal insulation; (D) Reservoir; (E) Method for constructing thermal insulated slotted wall; and (F) Basin handling method.
