Transmitted data are used as program data and transmitted via a radio connection comprising a radio transmitter and receiver. The transmitted program data are stored in a memory of the terminal device. The transmitted data are used directly for configuring terminals (1,5) of different features, and can be altered by a user prior to transmission. Software may be used to alter the data. The software may be installed in a telecommunication network, personal computer, or data carrier.
