<p>The transmission has two rollers (1) on parallel axes (2), and at least one belt (3) of elastic material guided in respective grooves (5) in the rollers. A support element (4) is installed between the rollers and over it are guided the drive strands of the belt. The support element consists of a slidable material. The support element on its ends facing the rollers has recesses by which it can engage in the grooves in the rollers. The recesses in the support element may be semi-circular with a radius which conforms to that of the grooves.</p> |
