<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery using a positive electrode providing sufficient conductivity while the adding amount of a conducting auxiliary is reduced as little as possible, and to provide a manufacturing method of the positive electrode. <P>SOLUTION: An electrode is manufactured in such a way that slurry prepared by dispersing flake graphite powder and/or vapor phase growth carbon fibers, and a binder in a solvent is applied to a current collector, the flake graphite powder and/or the vapor phase growth carbon fibers are oriented by a magnetic field, and the solvent is removed by drying, and the obtained electrode is used as the positive electrode of a lithium ion secondary battery. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
