PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television supporting device corresponding to the personal television age. SOLUTION: In a stand type, an arm is protruded from a joint capable of freely changing the direction in the top end of a freely stretching pipe, a mechanism for freely changing the direction is included in the distal end of this arm, and a liquid crystal television is mounted on the top, so that a viewer can adjust the device in accordance with his posture for easiest viewing. Furthermore, it is also included in a range to select a desired angle and a desired direction of a free mechanism portion supporting the liquid crystal television using a remote controller.
