PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headphone with a recording and reproducing function, the using operability of which is improved by enabling a user to listen to music in a handsfree way even in the middle of taking exercise. SOLUTION: A music player with built-in hard disk (hard disk player) 12 is attached to the outside of one end of a head arm 2 of a headphone 1 in a freely attachable and detachable way. A remote controller 48 for remotely operating the hard disk player 12 is attached to the outside of the other end of the head arm 2 in a freely attachable and detachable way. The headphone 1 is provided with input-output terminal receiving parts 44 and 45 for an analog signal line and has a slot (external storage element mounting part)27 for a memory stick for fetching music data to the hard disk player 12, a terminal connection receiving part 23 for a USB cord or the like.
