PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To collect and store externally provided photograph image data in an internal storage section as album information, and to store it also in an external recording medium on condition that a portable external recording medium is set. SOLUTION: In the electronic album, a CPU 1 judges whether a portable external recording medium, i.e. a CD/DVD 11, is set or not. If the CD/DVD 11 is set, photograph image data provided externally from a memory card 9 is collected and stored in an internal storage section (incorporated hard disc) 2 as album information, and the image data is read into the CD/DVD 11 and recorded/stored therein.
