<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a route guide system capable of displaying destination of a train accompanied with separated operation as guide data convenient for users. <P>SOLUTION: The route guide system 10 is composed of a route guide device 30 and a terminal device 20. The route guide device 30 comprises a train time data editing means 37 and a train time data providing means 34. A train time data base 36 is composed by adding an internal train identifier to train time data of each train and train time data of each train connected and/or separated in a predetermined route section. A route searching means 35 searches for a notable train meeting the route searching conditions. The train time data editing means 37 extracts and edits destination information of a train having the internal train identifier identical to the notable train. The train time data providing means 34 creates the guide data including the extracted destination information and distributes the guide data to the terminal device 20.
