PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide construction technology for a masonry structure building for improving earthquake resistance without impairing the appearance of the building. SOLUTION: This prestressed structural member 10 used in the masonry structure building is provided with a plurality of unit structural members 1a provided with a hole part for inserting a PC steel material 2 for introducing prestress. The plurality of unit structural members 1a are mutually connected in the axial direction of the hole part. This masonry structure building provided with a plurality of prestressed structural members 10 is provided with the plurality of prestressed structural members 1 arranged adjacent to each other in substantially parallel with the axial direction of the hole part and a thermal insulating material 3 arranged between the prestressed structural members 1.
