PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanical pencil which can very easily register the positions of a rotator and a lead feeder means and as a result, has outstanding productivity. SOLUTION: This mechanical pencil is structured of a rotator which rotates in parallel with an axis, arranged on the side of an intermediate part of a barrel and a lead feeder means which is actuated by the rotary action of the rotator.
