PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chip transfer device efficiently sucking chips, and also easily discharging the chips. SOLUTION: Air pressure in a tank body 12 is reduced by discharging air inside the tank body 12 with a dust collector 20. A shutter 35 is drawn to a discharge port 31 of the tank body 12. The discharge port 31 is airtightly closed by the shutter 35. The chips C are sucked into the tank body 12 together with air from a vacuum pipe 15. The inside of the tank body 12 is easily made airtight. The discharge port 31 is opened by moving the shutter 35 after stopping the dust collector 20.
