PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a massager capable of realizing massaging effects the same as the effects obtained when thumbs of a human body are pressed. SOLUTION: This massager is equipped with a treating element 1 formed by having a core part 3 with an elastic modulus greater than that of a treating part 2 in the treating part 2 made of an elastic material and gives a massage by pressing the treating part 2 against a subject 30 through pushing out the core part 3 to the side of the subject 30. The core part 3 has a convex curve shaped pressing surface 5 with a curvature radius Ry in a longitudinal direction Y larger than a curvature radius Rx in a shorter direction X at a part facing to the side of the subject 30, and an end surface 6 greatly slanted in the direction away from the subject 30 rather than the surface where the pressing surface 5 is extended in the longitudinal direction Y with the curvature radius Ry at a part continuing from the end edge of the pressing surface 5 in the longitudinal direction Y.
