The adjustable suspension is steplessly adjustable according to slats in an individual body. The adjustment can be made in several stages or adaptable to allow a large mattress to rest upon it. A frame construction is provided with the slat framework integrated into a bed frame. Several mounting plates are provided for the individual slats, the mounting plates are round or angular form for allowing the individual slats to be inserted. The slats are in their basic form easily curved and their adjustment made with the mounting plate individually mechanically and pneumatically by hydraulics or electronics.
