<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball-point pen tip which can prevent a ball from coming off for a long time, despite the fact that the fitted ball is an extremely small ball, and can secure a smooth writing feeling. <P>SOLUTION: A tapered edge part 21 is formed at the tip of a metallic cylinder 2 and a ball receiving seat 3 is formed in an inner surface near the tip of the metallic cylinder 2. In addition, the ball 6 is housed forward of the ball receiving seat 3, and a chucking part 4 is formed by inwardly deforming the tip of the edge part 21 circumferentially. The ball 6 is rotatably embraced between the chucking part 4 and the ball receiving seat 3. The outside diameter A of the ball 6 falls within the range of 0.3 to 0.45 mm and the difference (A-H) between the outside diameter A of the ball 6 and the inside diameter H of the chucking part 4 falls within the range of 10 to 25 μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
