<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a transfer die of an optical sheet of fine pitches, which reduces the imperfect shapes formed in the peak part and valley part of the optical sheet and improves the video clearness of a screen, and also provide a transfer die for the optical sheet, an optical sheet, a transmissive screen, and a back projection display device. <P>SOLUTION: A male die 42 is manufactured by transferring a female die 41 manufactured by performing a machining process (a). Since the flashes and lenticulation formed on the female die 41 are transferred in reversal to the male die 42, a flash treating process (e) of immersing the male die 42 into a dilute nitric acid solution N is performed. The flashes and lenticulation of the male die 42 can be reduced by the treatment.
