<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a high quality image on an optoelectronic device by preventing light beams incident on TFTs beforehand. <P>SOLUTION: Pixel electrodes, TFTs which include semiconductor layers (1a) connected to the electrodes, scanning lines (3a) connected to TFTs and data lines (6a) are provided on a TFT array substrate. The scanning lines include narrow width sections (3aa) which are opposed to channel regions (1a') in the semiconductor layers and act as gate electrodes and wide width sections (3ab) which are not opposed to the channel regions.
