CONTROL DEVICE FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for an internal combustion engine securing discharge quantity of fuel vapor from a fuel vapor treating system while improving fuel economy by variable control of lift/operation angle of an intake valve.

SOLUTION: This device is applied to the internal combustion engine provided with the fuel vapor treating system discharging fuel vapor to an intake air passage with using intake vacuum and regulates intake air quantity through cooperative control of lift variable control and throttle valve opening control. When fuel vapor concentration in the fuel vapor treating system is high (S100:NO), lift variable control is executed to make lift of the intake valve larger than that at a time of low fuel vapor concentration (S106 or S108).
