<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the adjustment work of the current distribution of a thyristor by the adjustment of the phase angle of a gate pulse to be supplied to each thyristor of a plurality of thyristor rectifiers connected in parallel. <P>SOLUTION: The generation excitation controller comprises a substrate 32 wherein a gate drive circuit 33 which supplies the gate pulses is mounted on a thyristor bridge constituting the plurality of thyristor rectifiers 4 connected in parallel which supply excitation current to the field winding 2 of a generator 1. The controller is provided with a phase adjustment means 34 for adjusting the phase angle of the gate pulse to be supplied to each thyristor to adjust the current distribution of the thyristor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
