<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a user interface device, which teaches and assists users at an ambiguous operation for an information terminal with a GUI environment. <P>SOLUTION: The user interface device includes a help data storage unit 240 to store a help data explaining how to operate an apparatus and an application, a help display unit 230 to acquire and display the help data required by the users from a help data storage means, a help browsing history storing unit 250 which stores the help history displayed by the help display, a GUI display unit 260 to generate a GUI for assisting a users operation based on the browsing help history, and a GUI data management unit 270 to manage the GUI data.
