PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an identification signal generating device, a program and a recording medium, allowing simplification of authentication of identity and allowing the high-speed biological authentication, by producing an identification signal instead of an image or the photograph of a face. SOLUTION: This identification signal generating device has an image input part for inputting an image; a Hadamard coefficient calculating part for Hadamard-converting an image signal of the input image, inputted by the image input part to calculate the Hadamard coefficient; an Hadamard coefficient extracting part for extracting a prescribed number of Hadamard coefficients in the order of large size of the Hadamard amplitude from the Hadamard coefficients calculated by the calculation part; and a binary one-dimensional signal generating part for generating the identification signal from an Hadamard sign of the Hadamard coefficient extracted by the extraction part.
