PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized imaging lens system which can reduce the size, lower the cost, realize mass production, enhance the image quality at large viewing angle and has a three lens constitution that uses diffractive/refractive lenses. SOLUTION: In order from an object side, the lens system consists of an aperture diaphragm, a first biconvex lens, a second lens having a concave surface toward the object side and a third lens having a concave surface toward an image forming surface. The first, the second and the third lenses are all plastic lenses, and at least one surface of any one of the lenses is a diffractive optical surface having a grid structure.
