PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rivet enabling the easy adjustment of the unevenness of a burring receiving member and also enabling an increase in workability, a furring strip receiving set, and a furring strip mounting and adjusting method. SOLUTION: This rivet 1 comprises a first tubular part 11 and a second tubular part 12. The first tubular part 11 formed in a roughly orthohexagon in the outline shape of a cross section perpendicular to the axial direction of an axis 19. Also, the second tubular part 12 can be crimped and its inner surface 12N communicates with the inner surface 11N of the first tubular part 11. Accordingly, the second tubular part 12 can be deformed so that the furring strip receiving member 2 can be held by the first tubular part 11 and projected part 24 on the second tubular part 12. Also, by fitting a tool to the first tubular part 11 and rotating them after the furring strip receiving member 2 is held by the first tubular part 11 and the projected part 24 on the second tubular part 12, the unevenness of the furring receiving member 2 can be easily adjusted with a small force to increase workability.
