PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a batten device 16 capable of preventing interference with another batten 26 in horizontal movement or rotation of the batten 26. SOLUTION: A frame 29 is horizontally movably supported by a moving mechanism 30. The frame 29 is provided with a lifting mechanism 27 for lifting and lowering the batten 26 and a rotating mechanism 28 for horizontally rotating the button 26. The frame 29 houses the batten 26 in its inside in lifting the batten 26 by the lifting mechanism 27 and permits the rotation of the batten 26 by the rotating mechanism 28 with the batten 26 housed therein. By the lifting, horizontal movement and rotation of the batten 26, the degree of freedom of setting of the position of the batten 26 is improved.
