PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pseudo-bamboo which does not need to prepare a large-scale mold for each outside diameter of the pseudo-bamboo and exhibits greater reality as compared with a conventional pseudo-bamboo. SOLUTION: A tubular molding 101 is extruded from an extruder 4, a molding roll 21 is made to push the molding 101 from its one side, and a back-up roll 23 contacts the molding 101 from the opposite side to form a linear hollow 103 in the longitudinal direction by a molding roll trace on the outer surface of the molding 101.
