PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing device of a cylindrical cell to prevent that a gelatinous negative electrode inside a separator overflows outside the separator and causes internal short circuit of the cell. SOLUTION: Because the manufacturing device of the cylindrical cell is provided with a separator contraction mold in which an opening part of a cylindrical separator is contracted in the inner peripheral direction, with a heater attached to the separator contraction mold, with a positioning mold in which positioning is made of the cylindrical cell and of the separator contraction mold, and with a knock-out attached to the positioning mold in order to remove the cylindrical cell from the contraction mold after contraction, it is prevented that the gelatinous negative electrode in the separator overflows outside the separator and that short circuit in the cell is caused by contraction of the opening part of the separator in the inner peripheral direction after the cylindrical separator is inserted into the cylindrical cell.
