SINGLE-FLUID NOZZLE FOR BAR FLOW JET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single-fluid nozzle for jetting a high-pressure water flow having a long distance for changing a transparent bar flow jetted from a jet hole to a turbid flow. SOLUTION: The single-fluid nozzle is equipped with a clogging part at the jet side of a flow channel arranged along the axis of a cylindrical body and jets a bar flow from the jet hole bored through the clogging part. An inner peripheral surface that has the center of the jet hole as a central axis, encloses the flow channel and has a flow channel cross section in a tapered shape of gradually reducing a diameter toward the clogging part. The taper angle is≥1°and≤30°and the edge part being a boundary between the end face at the inflow side of the clogging part and the inner peripheral surface of the jet hole is a sharp edge having≥80°and≤90°. The diameter of the bar flow injected from the jet hole is set at the diameter of the jet hole or below up to a position of at least 150mm or above from the jet hole. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
