Polymers contg. hydantoin groups Polymers of formula wherein m is integer >=1, n integer >1, X is -NH-CO-NH-, -NH-CO-, -CO-NH-, -NH-CO-O-, or -O-CO-NH-. Prodn. is by reaction of diisocyanates R(NCO)2 with cpds. of formula Y-(CH2)m-CH-COZ.
