PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of a console box for an automobile in which a worker bears a less burden and quality of a cabin is enhanced. SOLUTION: A clip 6 is inserted to a hole 3 to be mounted of a bottom plate 2 of the console box 1 and a mounting hole 5 of a console mounting bracket 4 and the bottom plate 2 of the console box 1 and the console mounting bracket 4 are fastened. Thereby, the console box 1 is mounted to the console mounting bracket 4 by one touch and the burden of the worker is reduced. Further, since a compressed piece 18 of a pressing part 10 of the clip 6 is compressed between a side plate 7 of the console box 1 and a strut 17 of the clip 6 and is elastically deformed, an inner surface 7a of the side plate of the console box 1 is pressed by the piece 18 of the clip 6 and rigidity of the side plate 7 of the console box 1 is ensured.
