An electric motor comprising a rotor (52) that can rotate around an axis of rotation (56) and a stator (60) which is arranged around said rotor (52) and provided with poles (11' - 16'). Each pole has an individual winding (11 -16), said windings forming a winding arrangement (30) used to produce a rotary field. A device with electric contact elements is arranged approximately concentric to the axis of rotation (56). Said contact elements are provided with fixing elements (34, V1, W1, U'1, V'1, 32, 36) which are connected to a respectively associated end of an individual winding. A connection device (40) comprises a plurality of strip conductors (42, 44, 46), each of which being connected to the associated connection elements of the stator by means of a weld connection (155) so that they can be electrically connected to each other in a predetermined manner.
