The present invention relates to a network transmission device that includes infrared remote control and audio/video signal transmission function. Said device generally contains two network transceivers. The first network transceiver is used to connect the audio/video play terminal and network line. The second network transceiver is used to connect the audio/video play device and network line. Thus, audio/video contents can be remote played over the network. In addition, the first network transceiver can receive infrared remote controller's signals of electronic household appliances, and convert said signals to the network packets. Then the network packets would be sent to said second network transceiver, and can be resolved into infrared signal by said second network transceiver, in order to remote control option of the play source. Thereby, the present invention can provide the infrared remote control function, unmasking efficacy and others.
