<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain a generator, receiving a power from an internal combustion engine, from being driven exceeding the upper limit speed during cold. <P>SOLUTION: When a reaction force from an engine 22 can not be catched by a motor MG1 as a result of a power higher than an assumed power being outputted from the engine 22 since air density is high during cold, a throttle opening in which response is late is decreased when the speed is low based on the speed of the motor MG1, a suction and exhaust timing is delayed when the speed is increased, and by delaying an ignition timing in which response is quick when the speed is further increased, a power outputted from the engine 22 is reduced. Thereby, in spite of the response speed of a changing operation parameter, drive of the motor MG1 exceeding the upper limit speed can be suppressed, and the occurrence of a trouble to a catalyst for purification due to an increase in the exhaust temperature of the engine 22 with the delay of an ignition timing can be suppressed by decreasing the frequency of delay of the ignition timing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
