<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toroidal type continuously variable transmission, lubricating the periphery of an input shaft to a bearing without forming an oil hole in the input shaft and without any increase in number of parts. <P>SOLUTION: In this toroidal type continuously variable transmission, lubricating oil is supplied to a clearance 102 between the input shaft 1 and the input and output side disks 2, 3 through a spherical surface post 64 from between the input side disk 2 and the output side disk 3, and the supplied lubricating oil is let flow to a ball spline 6 and bearings 5, 4A through the clearance 102. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
