CONTENT SELECTION APPARATUS, CONTENT MULTIPLEXING APPARATUS, METHOD FOR SELECTING CONTENT, AND METHOD FOR MULTIPLEXING CONTENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit the transmission of at least illegally copied contents even when the illegally copied contents are included in the case of processing a plurality of contents.

SOLUTION: A switching control circuit 12 monitors judgment results of respective illegality judgment circuits 111 to 11n and judges the existence of a judgment result indicating illegality. When there is no judgment result indicating illegality, ON commands are sent to all switches 131 to 13n to permit the contents transmission of all lines L1 to Ln. When illegal copy is detected in any one of the illegality judgment circuits 111 to 11n, OFF commands are sent to all the switches 131 to 13n to interrupt the contents transmission of all the lines L1 to Ln. Since the illegally copied contents are detected and interrupted by the processing mentioned above before multiplexing, contents illegally copied by a multiplex signal are prevented from being transmitted.
