PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording/reproducing device by which recognition of contents to be automatically eliminated is easy. SOLUTION: A CPU of the recording/reproducing device retrieves content management information corresponding to the contents for automatic elimination from content management list information when it recognizes that a list of all the contents for automatic elimination is displayed by an output device. The CPU displays content information 611 for elimination about the contents for automatic elimination in a display area 321 of the output device as the whole elimination list screen 600 based on the content management information corresponding only to the contents for automatic elimination.
