PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a complex electronic device improved in security so as to prevent other devices from reading image information stored in an insertable and extractable memory card. SOLUTION: When the image information is stored, an SD memory card provided with an advanced copyright protection function is used so as to prevent the stored image information from being read by other devices, and 2 bits are made to be dummy data among 4 bit data of a data line connecting an ASIC 400 and the memory card. When the 2 bits of the dummy data at that time are read or written from/in the memory card 400, the dummy data is added or discarded to scramble the data line.
