PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection valve for a cylinder direct injection type internal combustion engine positioned in a combustion chamber of which temperature gets high and capable of preventing carbonization of fuel in a sack compressed by a needle valve. SOLUTION: The fuel injection valve 1 for the cylinder direct injection internal combustion engine includes a nozzle main body 2 and a needle valve 1. The nozzle main body 2 includes the sack part 4 and a seat surface 5 at a tip part thereof and has an injection hole 6 opening on the seat surface bored thereon. The needle valve 3 has a seat part 7 closing the injection hole 6 formed thereon and stored in the nozzle main body 2 slidably in an axial direction and has a high pressure fuel reservoir 8 formed between an inner circumference surface of the nozzle main body 2. A communication hole 10 communicating the sack part 4 and the high pressure fuel reservoir 8 is formed inside of the needle valve 3 and fuel in the sack part 4 can always move to prevent carbonization of fuel.
